2-Step Korean Skincare Morning Routine

For sure you already came across the trending 10-Step Korean Skincare Routine and yes, I do admit I have tried this. There was once a time when I would search for hours on the internet for Korean beauty blogs looking for highly raved products but that was before I developed anxiety and dived into depression. Now, I noticed that my skin had become more sensitive and my hormones jumping wildly up and down.

Last year I discovered this facial wash from a Korean brand, CosRX. If you know Liah Yoo, she is a Korean beauty blogger, it is from one of her videos that I got to know this brand.

I have been using it since then and I must say my skin loves it! I do not however, wash my face every morning with cleansers. My schedule for it would be every other day and in between, I just wash with water alone.

As for the sunscreen I am currently using Celeteque Sun Care Matte Moisturizer with SPF 30. This is not Korean though! Before I was using the Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish with SPF 50 and PA+++ but it was always out of stock and hard to find, so I went on to find other sunscreens but sadly I could not get my hands to anything close to it. Yes, I only wash my face and then apply a sunscreen!

The Celeteque Sun Care does give me zits from time to time. It is also a bit sticky but because I am just staying in, it is not an issue for me. On the plus side, it comes as sunscreen-slash-moisturizer so still Korean-ish right? For now, I will stick with this until I find a better one.

How about you? How many steps are in your morning skincare routine? Let me know!
